Farewells and Gag Gifts

Last Thursday night was one of those reminders that we're all grown up now and have to sort of live out our lives as responsible people. My fabulous girlfriends and I celebrated one of our final weekly Girl's Nights. We've been able to hold on strong to our weekly get-togethers through our graduations and jobs and real lives, but this week we celebrated our last. Angela is moving on to bigger and better things as she's moving out of River Falls and heading off to her law enforcement training. We enjoyed the fine dining at Pizza Luce and spent a night on the town shopping on Grand Ave.

I had also been looking forward to Friday for a long time. Emma's Uncle Walt and Aunt Kathie are in Mpls. to visit and we couldn't wait to see them. They reside in San Diego and are incredibly generous. They offer up their home to us anytime we need a vacation and we've been very lucky to have spent so much time with them. UW is one of those guys who enjoys a good laugh, so we, of course brought him a fun gift.... Weener Kleener. Hey, who doesn't like Weener Kleener!?!
